The Outdoorist Oath

Helping people take action for planet, inclusion, and adventure

The Outdoorist Oath believes that the outdoors is a place for everyone, that adventure looks and feels differently for all of us, and that we all have a role to play in halting climate change and protecting our planet. Joyful, fun, free online workshops teach participants how to uncover their unique skill sets and learn how to put them into action for planet, inclusion, and adventure.”

“So many people want to take action for each other and the planet,” says Executive Director Gabaccia Moreno. “But the truth is that taking action can be daunting and lonely. The Oath is here to create a culture and community where we can come together to share the tools and support needed to take individual action and to normalize finding joy in allyship.”
